    Pastor Hestor,

I don’t know if you remember me but we met, last year, at the CR 2013 Conference at Saddleback Church.

I am The Reverend G. L. “Greg” Aldana, Phd. My friends call me “Dr. G.” I have two Masters degrees (MA & MDiv) from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA. My PhD is from the UK. I’m a retired Presbyterian PC(USA) Pastor. I’m also a “re-tread” out of the AeroSpace Industry where God called me out of an Aerospace Administrative career into full time ministry some time ago. I’m also a grandfather of 6 children and have been married to my wife Carol for 28 years. Always, in the backgroud, I have been what is called a “Compassionate Capitalist” involved in Real Estate Investments for over 50 years and a fan, like you, of Robert Kiyosaki.

More importantly I am a Recovering Alchoholic and Prescription Drug Addict and have been “clean and sober”now for 1.21 years (I have an app. For that :-). I am almost finished with my own 12 Step group and will be leading another 12 Step group in September of this year. I also play guitar and lead worship at a CR Open meeting at La Mesa Baptist Church, the Sr. Pastor is Jim Wiebolt 619-302-3362. I have prepared a Testimony and have already shared it with CR groups in Arizona, La Mesa and Mirirmar (San Diego County) areas. I can send you a copy of my Testimony if you like.

My wife and I are also on the leadership team of this La Mesa CR group; Felix Alverez 619-368-1658 is the Chair of this group and also my CR Sponsor. My wife is in her own 12 Step group for co-dependency. Our 12 Step groups meet at our home church, Journey Community Church in La Mesa, Ed Noble is the Church Pastor @ 619-464-4544.

THE REASON: I’m sending you this Email is that, when we first met, I just dropped into a classroom at Saddleback and introduced myself to you before you began to speak, because I sensed a “tug” to be a part of your CPR ministry to Pastors, because I are one :-), but I knew I wasn’t ready yet. Instead I sat in on all the worship leasdership classes where the Lord was focusing me at the time. In the brief time we met, I probably told you that I was interested in CPR and mentioned I would keep you informed. Now I sense I am ready to help, if you need me.

If you need me to help with CPR or you just want to touch bases again, Carol and I will be at the 2014 Saddleback CR confernece. This will be Carol’s first conference. We will be staying at a nearby Hotel and would love to meet you again. Coffee is on me. The best way to connect with me then or anytime is my Mobile Phone: 619-315-6841. Carol and I live in Santee, a suburb of San Diego County.

Please feel free to call or write anytime.

In His serice, for His glory,
    Dr. G. L. “Greg” Aldana (Dr. G)
